CSIO Dialogues to Unify the Immigrant Movement
CSIO held its 6th and 7th immigrant movement-building dialogues in March and June 2019, attracting over 60 immigrant leaders from over 30 organizations. Immigrant leaders from across populations have been gathering in these dialogues since 2017 to eliminate competition among communities and build a message that unites immigrant communities against white supremacy.

Roots of Migration: Focus on Central America
Part II- May 2nd,2019 6-8 PM
This workshop will focus on the root causes of migration from Central America’s Northern Triangle. Participants will explore the conditions that are uprooting migrants from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and why they are traveling north to Mexico and the United States.

CSIO will introduce participants to the process of grassroots community organizing. Participants will learn about strategies and tactics to cultivate the leadership of those impacted by injustice.
